Are they're any RPGs out there that are styled after the Final Fantasy series? Or something like Golden Sun for the Gameboy Advance? I'd love to have a quality RPG to take with me on my X30 while I'm out and about! :approve:

Kyle's Quest kinda fits into the FF2/FF3/Dragion Warrior set of games.
Unfortunately, PPCs seem to really lack RPGs. PDA Mill is releasing a new RPG in about a week, and they are a great company, so you may want to look for that. You may also want to take a look at the Pocket Everquest series. It seemed a little short to me, but it is definitely better than nothing. Most of the RPGs for the PPC seem to be in first person view. You could always just use an emulator like MorphGear and play some of the older RPGs (sidenote: talking about ROMs is not allowed on Aximsite).

I thought we could TALK about roms...just not give out links and things like that??
I hope we can talk about roms, because there are many legitimate roms such as GrandTheftendo!!!
Grandtheftendo, google it now! it is an awesome to be released program written for the NES and he uses NES emus to run it, I am looking forward ot this on the PDA,
So I think talking about roms should be allowed, and links encouraged. Of course, legal roms only!!!
I will post a link when he gets a release out! And a link to an emu (so both legit links!)
Thanks :exc: :hide: :)

Like the poster way above said, get your FF fix with an emulator and FF I-VI.
Since we're here, what is so great about FFVII, everyone says its like the greatest RPG ever and I believe them, but I bought it, played it for about an hour and thought it was very cheesy.
Why do you guys like it so much? (please give descriptive reasons and not just "It pwnz, etc... I really want to know why people like it so much)
If its really that good I'll have to give it a try again.
FF7 is a cool game if you can 'enter' the story...
the characters are each with feelings...they are charismatik so you can enjoy playing with them
the storyline is well made...would be good for a movie :D
pretty good FMVs ;)
wonderful backgroung musics but sometimes SFX are poor in quality
The game system (materia, summons...) is very great I think (even if I think that Jobs from FF5 is also something marvelous)
You should play till you get out of Migdar then you will be able to decide if this is a good game or not...
deciding before that could be nonsense because it is just an introduction and of course some thibgs are missing (no summons, only few chars...)

see you
Thanks for the info. I will have to try it again if I can get it to work on the ppc. Its too bad you can't buy them. The devs could make some easy money that way.
