X50v has higher then PS1 quality gfx (quite a bit better) on Stuntcar Extreme

I'd say it has Nvidia TNT1/2+ gfx. The game looks very good copared to that video floating around. Clip plane is very good, line of distance is too, no jaggies so anti-aliasing is very good (unlike the PSP vids we've seen) and it ran nice and smooth.

I'm impressed for sure. Its not like its DIII gfx, but no one was expecting that and considering this is a rushed port of a Zodiac game, I'd say the X50v has some serious potential.

Its a shame it won't get the kind of developement resources the PSP will, otherwise I bet we'd see close to PS2 quality gfx, but I doubt it could produce the detail and quality of the PS2, ever.

Anyway,

im happy to see the potential, and i think were barely scratching the surface here. we're gonna see some very impressive games soon, esp. once bigger names start developing for the ppc like ea sports did with madden. if other companies follow suit, we have a lot to look forward too

nefariousnurd is my other moniker, and im too lazy to change my sig with the different names ive used so whatever
