I've been thinking about which classic PC games should follow the footsteps of games like Age of Empires & Tomb Raider and make the move from the PC to the Pocket PC format. Here's my top 10 list. What's yours? (Let's be realistic about this too- no UT 2003)
1) Diablo
2) StarCraft
3) Warcraft II
4) Fallout (or Fallout 2)
5) Dark Forces
6) System Shock
7) Command & Conquer (or Red Alert)
8) MechWarrior 2
9) Wizardry series
10) Leisure Suit Larry series :p
I do not think I have ten, but definitely the two Diablos (although I do not think the second would be possible currently), the first Baldur's Gate, and some of the Wizards and Warriors series.

I like Starcraft & Warcraft. and since you have Leisure Suit Larry series (w/c I like alot) I'll go for other Sierra games like King's Quest series & Space Quest series. I can always go for Lara Croft. I'd wish they made Everquest better but I still like the one's they have now. And this may be a bit more flakey but Goonies that I use to have for my Commadore 64.

I'd love to see a few Bioware RPGs on the Pocket PC but as they are, Baldur's Gate already takes up 5 CDs (6 with TOTSC) and would be difficult to port over. The W&W series would be cool as would Diablo (also, you're right about Diablo II- it would be difficult). I only hope that the big developers really dive into the mobile market someday. I wouldn't think that it would be too hard to retool these classics for another version of Windows. Besides, this would be the perfect way to squeeze out a few more bucks with relatively minimal work (compared to designing a game from scratch).
Check toysforbob.com (creators of Starcontrol), they have remade StarControl 2 to work on modern computers. It is still in alpha stages, but you can download it and play! The only dumb thing is that they added the voices in from the 3DO version, I prefer it without voices. Oh well, its all good! :)
