Reviving thread
Do these games support Wifi/Bluetooth gaming when your next to your buddy? or Is it over a wireless server like thing such as Battle.net?
Can anybody else thing of any WIFI gaming?
I can think of another one called CUBE

All those are next to buddy type.. I dont think any actually supports over the internet... really sucks.
Cube does support online and lan play, but when you click online it goes to a list of unsupported games. In theory you can host cube on your x50v and connect your PC to it and play 1v1 multi... but I couldnt figure it out... in theory we should alos be able to play multi online but I dont know how to do that either.

Lol was a joke :p
Seriously though, PocketQuake can do multiplayer. There are even several dedicated servers and a special tournament client. Only problem is, no-one plays.

Are there any PPC multiplayer games that people actually play, host servers, and are online constantly?

no.
... What is the point of this 10 char thing?! It's gotta be the most pointless thing ever. If anyone wanted to spam, it wouldn't take them much longer to mash their keyboard...

thats why I think we should look for a port that is compatable with the PC... that way we can get pwoned but at least we would do it in style ;)

The Quake 1 port is, but not QuakeWorld, which is the only version of Quake 1 that people play now...
There is a PocketQuake Tournament server up, if you google for it, it's just that no-one ever plays on it. I left my PDA connected to it for about 3 days constantly, and not a single other person joined.

Ah, yes, why of course I remember the Cybiko...Had 2 cybiko regulars and 1 Cybikoextreme [Before it got the CYX2 nickname], and my friend got 3 Cybikoextremes with an mp3 player...Those were some fun Jr. High days! :)
