Syndicate Wars would be my choice...

And of course any of the old 80's Arcade games like PacMan, Centipede, DK, etc...

mmm Heretic.

I installed pocket quake.

pretty sweet. To bad the controls on the Aixim suck for playing.

Anyone come up with a better idea to play?

I just ordered the snap on keyboard maybe that will help.

Nah, it's the game attomic cannon emulates. Except u can buy weapons, shields, dampers, targeting devices. it's freeware or abandonware now. i think it runs on winxp.

Armada was an awesome game. Campaign mode was awesome. It was turn based. going from planet to planet gathering resources and building your fleet. and when you fight an enemy it go's to 3d and you fight like a space flight sim.

Link to tank (wars)

If we're talking "real" oldies here, then I'd definitely vote for classics like Sid Meier's "Pirates!" or the evergreen "Elite". Why? Because quality never gets out of style!

Doom 1&2 has been ported to ARM (and xscale of cource) devices for over 2 years now people. I'm supprized you guys haven't seen it yet.

Oh and if you really want to show off your pocket pc's potential install Pocket Quake. It is by far the most graphically intense game to date that I know of.

And don't read the reviews on that site. They were using devices that could barely even run it. Pocket pc's have gotten a good bit faster and more usable these days.
