a rom in this case would be the palm operating system. like windows 2003 on the ppc is on or sometimes refered to as a rom. its just the operating system (OS) file.

they are illegal to download like games because the creater (Palm) doesn't want people doing things like emulation. lots of people still do itand i highly recommend it, but it can be tricky for a noob.

Do you mean that it would be like getting the Palm OS (which I own a copy) and using it on ppc? I've read some articles on this and I'm still pretty confused by what this all means. Thanks!

I think a Sims game for ppc would be pretty cool in 3d, the characters could be tiny like in AOE.
