PocketSNES high pitch can be fixed if you turn stereo off before you play the game. After it runs for a bit turn the Stereo back on.

Just posting a problem i had with Pocketsnes...
I tried to switch the display to "righ-handed" mode (in pocketsnes) and it just game me a black black screen...the music played, but no picture. Everything else works fine..and every other display mode works perfectly, but all the "Right" modes don't display anything.

oh, and i am using a axim x50v

Even though picard's GAPI driver works beautifully on just about everything else, there are a few today screen apps that throw it off only in PocketSNES.

So, this version's working great on the X50v (significantly faster than Morphgear), but I have no idea how or if it will run on any other devices with the changes I've made. If there's anybody with an X5/3/30 or an X50 low or mid that wouldn't mind testing it out for me, I'd really appriciate it... send me an email at emulamer@gmail.com and I'll respond with the file and, if you want it, the source.
Hi, and thank you for the Snes emulator.

I looks great - but I cannot map the control keys. I hit the button on screen, then hit the harware button and... nothing happens. Somehow I even lost the original mapping - some of the on-screen keys now have ... next to them. Is there a way to manually assign the buttons, in reg keys perhaps?

Thanks!

I'll ask Frost. Currently, Emulamer hasn't made much of an update to his new SNES emu 'cause Tala has taken it under X50v's wing. Plus he is now part of the Morphgear Programmer/Developer part of the team. The X50v has inspired him to continue certain new projects that alot of X50v fans really appreciate right now like the Gapi Tweak and the X50v mixer. So he's kinda busy at the moment , he may come on again but i'll talk to him about it personally and post here... if he hasn't replied yet...

I've been running Morphgear, over-clocked, since I purchased my x3i (when they were first released), and it works fine. I typically play NES, SNES and Genesis games at full speed with sound.

My buddy only plays SNES rpgs on his x3i, and he's been using PocketSNES. Haven't heard any problems with that either.

I'm interested in installing PocketSNES but have little idea how it works. What do I need to install? I've downloaded PocketSNES-1.12.201-test.zip. However, there are other files in http://leggnet.com/emulamer/

Can someone help me out by letting me know which files are required etc? I'm using an X50v. Cheers!

unzip it, and copy the file to your ppc. Then just tap it to play it.

It says that PocketSNES is not a valid Win32 application. Did I do something wrong?

Once you copy the PocketSNES.exe file over to your Axim, you should be able to just use File Explorer, find the file, click it and it should launch.
