To get it running, you need picard/emulamers GAPI tweak.. I forget which tweak mode, but I think its the second one that works.
For landscape you need to futz with the config file; see my posts on the pocketmatrix site about it; it works. Sadly, its not really useful I found since I couldn't bind the keys right for that mode, so you could ploay, but saving and using the menus was screwy..

Hey I couldn't help noticing that you talked about this mirror thing on your Axim, I myself have never had but I recently got a palm and when i play certain games like GTA the screen doubles. I think this is something to do with the high resolution screen compared to the normal screens as the palm tungsten w has a 320x320 screen. I was wondering if anyone else could share their knowledge about this and if possible a fix for the Palm. Thanks.

Simple.. if you're running a 160x160 app on a 320x320 or 480x320 or 320x480 Palm OS device, then the OS will double what needs doubling; ie: Fonts it'll use higher res versions that are the same "size" (but higher detail), but any bitmaps will have to be scaled up to fit. ie: IF its a 160x160 app on a 320x320 device, you dont' want to show it in just the top left corner or centered.. instead, you "scale" the coordinates up so it looks more or less the same.. but still scaled.
Most apps just get updated to high res artwork and thus look better than ever.
Same for PoPC and Palm OS.

I don't think you need to go into the config file to enter landscape. I just go into options -> video -> and select from there.
Playing in portrait is weak after seeing landscape.

Is PocketQuake still just running at 320x240 on the X50v? Is it likely that a 640x480 version will be released?

Does anyone know if it's possible to play this on wifi? My wife and I love FPS shooters and would be nice if we could link our x50v's and play this game.
Cheers

Well, you would have to set up the server on a home pc and run a lan i suppose because running a server on the pda doesnt work. POcket quake runs awesome on my x30 and i was even able to play pocket quake 2 at alright speeds.
