Starcraft REQUIRES a right click, porting that would be too hard
Plus it has too many small things on the screen youd need to click to make it usable even on an x50v (which is the correct resolution for it, 640x480, its just a smallc screen)

I don't see why it would be hard.. just have the pocketpc interpres holding down one of the buttons and tapping the screen as a right-click. thats how the older macintoshes with only 1 mouse button used to handle right clicking.

Its not hard to make right click work just hold or click a button on the axim, and it makes your stylus right click, let go of button or click again and its back to left click. should work fine, even double tapping for right click would be easy, and you can make you axim goto higher resulotions like 800 by 600, and the best news is, you can play on bnet or through LAN.

i think it was about 100 mbs, but you need the Warcraft game first or the demo. and you need to install one of the emulators like Qemu or Dosbox "both around 10 mbs plus the game its self" if you just want warcraft 1, or you could stream it over activesync and it would take nothing on the pocket pc.

Dosbox is only about 1.2 MB

Could you share your dosbox configuration? I can run X-Com on my X30H, but I would say that it crawls rather than runs. Oh! and no sound :(

Been away for a week, hence the slow reply. I don't have sound either and the game speed goes from slow to fast, depending on what's happening on screen. Haven't had a look at the dosbox setup page yet, if I find anything there that helps, I'll let you know.

The guy who ported DosBox doesn't think it'll work on 2003SE like we have on the Axim X50v and related? Does anyone have it going on the X50v? X50 medium?

I'll be honest with you guys. To be able to play Warcraft II on my Axim X50v the same way I used to play it on my old 486 DX2 50 Mhz would be a dream come true. Has anyone been able to accomplish this, or even get DosBox working on the X50v? I would try it but I am without my activesync shiznit right now. Merry Xmas folks.

Umm that's not even close to being possible if you mean WoW as in World of Warcraft...
