Bejeweled 2 - Beautiful but battery hog

I love the graphix on the new version (as well as some new gameplay options) but I do have a gripe. It really seems to suck the life out of my PPC. I can almost watch the battery fill line move while playing (only got about 90-100 minutes from 100% to shutdown message) maybe I havent used other VGA games straight thru for that amount of time but I get much better results when playing v.1. Has anyone else noticed this?
Action is the adversary of thought.

Regardless, the upgrade cost is crazy, why would I want to pay that much for such a minor difference as graphics, it is really the same game with some tweaks, at least they could do is support those who paid good money for the first and offer a better upgrade.

i havent really noticed the battery drain on it, i mean the new tweaks and graphics are great but a lil too costly for a puzzle IMO

The game does eat into battery life quite a bit, but no more than Acky's Breakout, Enigmo, or any other demanding piece of software.

And by the way, Bejeweled 2 is WAY more than just pretty new graphics. The puzzle mode alone is like a completely different game. $20 does seem a touch steep, but I'm sure over the years (since this has just about infinite replay value), I'll get my money's worth. Plus, my girlfriend digs it.
