Question DDR / Stepmania?

I did a quick search on the forum without any results.

Does anyone know if there is a Dance Dance Revolution clone out there for the PPC?

Could there possibly be a program out there that plays a midi file (to keep the file size down of course) and one would play to that? Though, having some lower quality audio files wouldn't be too bad, either, with headphones.

I'm flying home for the holidays and I was just curious I'll keep looking on Google and such. Thanks!

**EDIT: 3:35am (something tells me I should be sleeping because I have an exam later on 'today')

I found a game called Tap Tap Revolution. Shareware, though. I'll test it out and keep looking!

**EDIT: 3:38am

Argh, no demo for the game! Gotta buy it for $10. I'll keep looking for a free one

**EDIT: 3:54am

I give up. Sigh. I'll look again later and I'll sleep now. g'nite! (seriously, it looks like I'm talking to myself... but I'm not a suspicious or creepy person!)

I think Tap Tap Revolution is the only one available.

Neat..
Wonder if they have a port for Stepmania.

I do have DDR for gameboy so we could emulate that.

Wahoo, replies

PSX Emulator eh? I'm not sure that would go to well on my PPC But that sounds like a very cool option for everyone else!

Tap Tap is the only one you've heard of? Drat.

There's DDR for gameboy?! GBA? I've got a GBA and I'll be bringing that with me on the place. I must find this as a possible option for my DDR addiction.

**EDIT: 8:45pm
Ooo, found it for GB Colour.

Its just not as fun without the dance pad tho..
I REALLY wish someone could hack a gamepad for the axim.. It would be even better if it was for the PSX controller to axim (have a pile of them lol) then we could connect a dancepad to that bwahahaha um ok.

That would be intensely sweet. Hook up a dancepad to a PPC and party out during lab. Though, since all of my labs are mainly computer based... I suppose I could just get a PSX/XBOX to USB converter and bring the dance pad I have and plug it into the school computers. ... but that's a bit off topic!

TapTap revolution is a bore.. The gameboy DDR is MUCH better lol.

If you can use the computers... DDR+PSX emulator or Stepmania then again doubt you could install the drivers for it... and wouldnt you look kinda weird with a DDR pad stomping away?

Nah, everyone else DDR in my course. Well, almost everyone I have the computer version of DDR so that works with just playing with the keyboard. It's good stress relief when you want to tap some arrows
