If I get anywhere with mine, I'll post a site up for it; ie: I hope to make it so tapping on the screen does firing, so you can fire with your thumb, or the like, soon.

Do I need to copy files from my Descent CD to use this? Can it be from the CD or does it have to be installed on my PC to get these files? I think the link mentions something about that, but I don't want to install it on my PC (or will it even install on XP).

I have a 400mhz X5 ... got PocketQuake and PocketQuake2 running today.

PQ runs smoothly... probably better than it ever did on the PC I played it on originally! :)

PQ2 on the other hand, was very slow. Lack of 3D accelerator kills it I'm sure.

Interestingly enough, Wolf3D was the only one of the 3 I couldn't get to work at all.

The link I referred to has some docs; depends on the source.. some CDs had compressed installs, some had raw, etc. You just need two files from it, so take a look at them (the names are listed on the site).

I just picked up a full copy of quake 1. I'm trying to get the full verson onto my pocket pc. When i put the pak files from the cd onto my pocket pc and run the game i get this message:

pak0.pak has 3307 files and then closes the program?
Any ides on how to fix this?
