My kids and I have got a lot of milage out of it. I believe it is on sale (or was) - check the software bargains forum. There was a 10% off coupon for Handango there as well. It's not a lot, but it will save you a little bit.

I payed $30 for it and although I really do still enjoy it I don't think it was worth that much. Easily a $20 game though as it is a very faithful translation from the original.

I wish ZioSoft had not closed its doors as it seems they have because AOE really is a high quality game and I would have liked to have seen/played more games from them.

Didn't Know they were out of business till your post seems the made some nice Ports,so i wonder why they r gone

GoMDM now handles Age of Empires. Not sure if there are plans to update it.
