Here is the website that you can download the current files for PocketNester. It is the authors original files with all that is needed for a pocket pc.

There is a bug where on an Dell Axim X3 it will not use the directional pad initially and if you try to configure it it will not work. Don't Fret there is a fix for it, which I found on this site also.

this is a registry editor for your pocket pc and something that is very handy to have anyway. if you download the desktop installer all it does is put it on your desktop computer *NOT your pocket pc!* what you have to do is browse to the files in your desktop and find the .cab file which corresponds to the type of pocket pc you have (for the Dell Axim X3 you need the regedit.mrln_arm.cab) copy that to your temp file and browse to it on the pocket pc using file explorer. double tap on it and voila the files are installed.

Using the regeditor go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/PocketNester/NES/Input/Controller1/
go in and change the keys for the directions as follows.
Down - 28
Left - 25
Right - 27
Up - 26
