fpsece...newer faster better version

as a holiday gift, the good coders of fpsece (psx emulator or the pocket pc) have released their newest version. Now it's 10-20% faster and get this....it has sound! download it for free, and dont ask for psx iso's here or there!

So if I find an ISO that wont fit on my storage card, can I just access it from my comp over a network?

yep, its just that it wont load as fast. Also people have been encountering problems with black screens and games not loading. The only solution for this right now is to clear out as much program money as u can

use picard/emulamers drifver; I'm using 1.11, and set to 2700 enhanced (not xscale enhanced) and she works fine; see my fpsece forum post.

Ok, so no asking about where to find ISOs, but I have a bunch of old PSx games, can I somehow make isos of them? what do I need hardware and software wise?

Thanks Marvel.. that looks so easy that even I can do it! I'm having a problem though. The first 2 steps work just fine (quick too) but when it comes time to start PSXLDR, I get an error message that says

Component 'COMDLG32.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid

That file isn't in the zip file that I downloaded (from the direct link in the instructions) so I have no idea where to go from here.

Thats an active x component that PSXLDR assumes is already there...unfortunately thats not always the case. :)

http://www.geocities.com/nitin_speed...s.htm#comdlg32

is a decent link that explains how to clear the problem and where to get the file.

My computer does not recognize any of the playstation 1 discs I am putting into it. It spins for a while then it displays my CD drive as being empty.

Anyone know what's going on or how I can fix this? My computer has no problems reading cds, PC CDs, dreamcast games or DVDs.
