psyklops, the SNES never had true 3D, at least in the default hardware. The games with super FX chip like starfox I believe did do real 3D. The pilotwings uses a very very simple trick in modifying a flat 2D texture to make it look like a plane in 3D, but if you notice the only thing "3D" about the entire game is the actual ground itself. Everything else are sprites. This is typically called "mode 7" graphics for SNES.
Anyway, my point is that since it is not actual 3D rendering, there would be no way to accelerate it using OGL-es that I know of. Perhaps it might be possible if mode 7 was done entirely in hardware you could detect that special case to do a OGL texture with rotation, but then you'd probably have to render the entire game in OGL rather than just copying the framebuffer through OGL as a texture, which I believe is what this version of PocketSNES does.
EDIT: also I'd like to see an x51v port ;).

I've had it mirrored for a while. There's a link to it in my signature.

If you have WM5 on your X50v, PosketSNES won't recognize it.

Then my theory is correct! After much debating, it seems that all of Dell Axim's X50v's are all different someway. Certain programs work on some device and some just won't be recognize or start. Remember FPSECe 0.94? Some people got it to work, while others couldn't! What i'm getting down to is this...
I CAN RUN POCKETSNES OG|LES VERSION WITH NO PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER!
*Note- Maybe it's my exe, I believe a few others were able to start it as well?

Surely this can't be much work... It's probably only looking in the registry for the OS version.

I'd be great to use this on x51v. Any chance on releasing the source for this if you do not plan on developing it further?
