No not really lol. I never did really like that game. It's not as great as everyone says. Anyway, it would never run on a Pocket PC. And if you ever searched, there has been a lot of discussion over this. For one thing, no one would be ALLOWED to port it. That's one of the major issues.

That would be rather fun. Though it would be much more difficult to navigate without a mouse AND keyboard. Using the d-pad and stylus for movements would not be very easy.

yodaEXE i think you've misspelt 'It's as great as everyone says'..

anyway, it COULD run on a pocket pc, as its basically quake 1 engine (which we all know runs 40fps+ on ppc,) with little bit of q2 code (which is also playable on ppc). I do not think controls would be a problem, as Q1 is playable with stylus an buttons, it just takes a little getting used to. I suppose a keyboard could also be used if u were on a plane or summat. but unfortunately yodaexe is right, no-one could port it without the source code, which will not be released for some time by valve, as it would lead to the creatio of all kinds of hacks for games which still run on hl1 engine (cs, hl2, etc)

Its heavily modified so it can't really be copared to QI, but the x50 can run QIII so I'm sure HL1 wouldn't be a problem.

If only valve would do it

ps the d-pad can act as wasd keys and the stylus is your mouse, just like nintendo ds. We have an advatage too, the button in the middle of the d-pad can be used to fire and as a use button on environment objects.

But QIII doesn't have the same amount of complexity in its physics engine that HL2 has in its.
