I just cant seem to figure out putting on this game. If I am far away and hit it say 6 bars it goes 5 feet. If I am 5 feet away and hit it 6 bars it goes 30 feet.

Is there a trick to this?

I have played links on the PC for years (96-2001) but I just cant figure out the trick to putting.

I am on par-5s in 2 and end up 2x bogieing the hole!
