I think half life 2 could be ported to PPC

I was on the halflife2.net forums and I came across an interesting thread. Someone ported Half Life 2 to the Duke Nukem Engine. What I am thinking is maybe someone could get that port and then port the port to ppc (lol). Here are some pics:

Here is the thread: http://www.halflife2.net/forums/showthread.php?t=67537 (need to be signed in to see pics)

MAKE IT HAPPEN!

Wow, it looks like its running on the HL1 engine or something.

Thats pretty amazing if they can keep 30 FPS, which probably isn't possible though.

ps is the Duke Nukem engine really that ugly or is that in 3d rendering? Man. I remeber it liiking better. Not by a lot, but better then those screens. I mean the textures when close to buildings.

Sorry, no way :)

They didn't "port HL2" to anything I'm afraid; they may have imported the maps, or remade some of them, but its not a port :)

lol skeezix is right there is NO WAY that is a port
he has just been messing with the console in hl2 and forced it to use super-low res textures

How did they get the source code to port it? I doubt its a port,it would be illegal.
