I couldn't get it to work either. The installer just throws up a black DOS box for a second and then nothing happens. I also can't delete the madden.exe file for some reason now.

For some reason its loosing its extension when you dl it. Try renaming it to add the zip extension then unzip it...works fine.

The install file that I downloaded doesn't work. It crashes. SIGH.

I purchased the version that came out on an SD/MMC card about 4 months ago. The only problem that I have is that it crashes 100% of the time when I punt and about 50% of the time when the computer punts. So when I'm 4th and long at my own 2 yard line, I have to go for it, LOL. I have sent several e-mails to MDM and they have never replied. I hope that there is a way that I can patch the card should they ever release it.

I downloaded it and it ran fine. I did have to rename the MADDEN file to MADDEN.ZIP so I could unzip it as noted above.

After that, the installer worked fine and the game ran and was playable on my 400mhz X5.

Yes, Runs fine for me with my x5 basic. Could it be possible that your running it on WM 2003 SE?

Runs fine on my iPAQ. And trust me, I punt alot :) I also got the SD card version and use a Zeta gamepad to play.

Hmmmm. I've downloaded it twice, but I still get a problem when I run the installer. It doesn't get to the part of installing on my X50V. Just crashes with a general error. I'll try at home...could my POS work computer!

Rename the file to madden.zip when you are downloading it.
