Greetings;

I have not played the mini-dogfight game but there is a good review below, follow the link.
Have you tried Chopper Alley? It's not bad for a flight sim game. Follow the link for a review and a link to download a demo/purchase. I played it and found it to have good action and the graphics look better than the Mini-Dogfight program. As for the dogfight program working on the Axim it says it works on the ARM processor and the Axim runs ARM programs as well as XScale. Some of the ARM programs might not work as well on the axim.

Thanks Scott!
I wil definetly check out Chopper Alley as well. I'm not much of a chopper guy myself, but it looks really nice for a PPC game.
I can't believe I left off my favorite PC game in the above post: World War 2 On-Line. Best all around combat sim out there!

Just the thought of trying to control a PPC Spitfire IX cracks me up, but the video looks impressive. Wonder how long before someone developes a "mini-joystick!" :D
Wouldn't suprise me if they did make one soon, but I wont freak out till they make rudder pedals for them. ;)

Hey,

You can make your own joystick...

Superglue a pencil to your D-pad.

LOL! :D

At one time I actually thought about patenting an idea for a peripheral that is basically a handgrip with a thumbswitch for use with laptops as a joystick!
Of course now they have wireless sticks too, wonder if they could work....... :P

I am SUCH a geek

I tried Chopper Alley and it looked good. My only problem was that I couldn't fire. That function is mapped to pressing the center of the d-pad which didn't work. I didn't think to try pressing in the jog-dial before I un-installed the game. Try the demo and see if you can get it to work before buying it.
