Hi,
I downloaded the game Pocketquake II by Daniel East (freeware!) However, when I (try to) play, It looks like playing Unreal II on a 486. Does anyone know what the problem could be? I also think you should know this: The game file takes up almost 50 MB so I had to install it to a CF card. I don't know for sure, but I would expect this to slow the entire process down. On the other hand, I don't know of any PPC's with enough memory to store such large files. If you'd like to try, it can be downloaded at www.ppc4all.com Don't worry, it does not lock your Dell up. Thanks

Are you sure you have the correct gamefile? Mine is only about 28 MB.
My Pocketquake is definitely Quake...and plays well. It's pretty tough trying to aim at the critters, though, unlike using your mouse on a desktop. I switched to PocketDoom as targeting is easier... Chris...

I believe you can put the executable on the built-in memory and the other files on the CF and that should make it faster. Besides that, go into your settings and make sure it's running at 400MHz (or 300MHz if you have the 300MHz Axim).
