Any way to adjust thread priority settings in older versions of MorphGear?
Okay, so I remember that the X30's button lag problems were solved by adjusting the thread priority. So, I'm thinking that doing the same would be nice for the X50 since there is definately a small button lag. I know I could just get the newest version of MorphGear and give it a shot, however, the version I use is 100% compatible with the X50v AND is much faster at emulating SNES. So, is there any way, perhaps in the registry or something, to lower the thread priority?

The X50v's speed is awesome!

Believe me, I know that the X50v has great performance in MorphGear, I have owned one for about a month by now. I'm just looking for some way to adjust the CPU thread priority with older versions of MorphGear to address the button lag issue which, for some reason, nobody seems to be bothered by.

Give the newest morphgear a try... I found it to be alot more compatible now and with resource hack, Gapi Tweak, and overclocking with Pocket Hack Master 2004... my games are pretty playable at a remarkable speed. We will be releasing sometime soon a new SNES module with the 1.43 core and i already tested it. More games are compatible. Marat has also said he'll be updating his modules soon as well...

I was thinking I would try 2.2.5.1 a shot, as it appears to be the oldest version that includes that thread priority adjustment feature. I really don't feel like messing around with the resource hack, which is why I don't want to use the new version. Only problem is it's so hard to find older versions of MorphGear to download, I had to go to some random french website to get 2.1.0.0. I've never understood why they don't just have an archive of older versions on the MorphGear site. By the way, are there still plans of releasing a version that will allow the user to choose the version of the SNES core? I thought that was a GREAT idea. Use older versions for games that work with them so that they will run fast, but if a certain game isn't compatible with the older version of the core, just choose a newer version of the core for the better compatibility. That would be freaking awesome.

What's wrong with resource hack? I currently have no problems with it and it's the only program that allows me to use the faster gapi driver. GDI sucks and so does the raw framebuffer...
Now the reason why we don't have an archive of older Morphgear files is because Aaron said it would lead to something like... people using other peoples codes to get the modules free. Which I think is kinda dumb... i think an archive would be cool. I may start doing that for you guys. I currently only have 2.0.3.7, 2.1.0.0 and the new version. The Snes core idea was scrapped since R4ph43l picked up the new 1.43 core. He said he'll be making some new optimization to it to make it faster than any snes module before it. Well see... R4ph43l tosses me his new builds from time 2 time to get my input of what needs to be done... Give the newest Morphgear a try with resource hacking. I have great playability when it comes to emulation thanx to the X50v!
