I bought this a year ago and could not put it down for at least 8 months. It also has multiplayer ability. I have never heard of a discount, but it is well worth the $29!

It needs the picard gapi though. Play is acceptable on the new A02 rom, but better with picard's. Also, don't forget about the user built missions!!!! There are 30-50 more missions you can download for free built by other people!!!! Adds many more months of life to the game. I have played the game for about 1 year now!! I love games where you can save at any point and not have to restart a mission.

Some of the older games are written in GAPI or use a GAPI interface to draw the graphics, or something like that. When the new VGA pdas came on the market, they were very very slow using games written using GAPI, including the x50x. This is not an issues with non VGA pdas. A guy named Picard, wrote a new GAPI driver to make GAPI applications/games faster. It's a free download. It's functions in the same way a new video card driver would on a desktop computers. When you install it on your PDA, it will make gapi games play at least 4x faster if not more! Read the sticky thread in the x50 fourum if you have time to read 30 pages.

Also, if you didn't know about the picard gapi driver, you probably dont know about his free play anything media player, for xvid, divx, avi, and almost any other type of movie and music file you could want to watch or listen to on your pda. I love putting movies on my pda to watch. Do a search for Picards BetaPlayer, its his pride and joy. Its better than any program you could hope to pay for and its freeeeee!!!

Warfare is great. I just think they should come out with a sequel to it. I played Argentum, and it seems they dont give you enough time to build up your base without being attacked.

I don't think I will buy the game until it comes out with VGA support, for one because I use RealVGA and don't like to switch modes to play a game, two because I think the game would be a lot more enjoyable with more real estate to work with.

Does anyone else have any trouble with the bluetooth multiplayer? I have an X50v and while playing people get messages that my device is acting erratically.
Any ideas?

Sorry, I haven't tried BT multiplayer... although I had forgotten I do have another BT device. I'll try to give it a go and see what happens.

Yeah I tried it over BT with a friend, and it said something like "Player2 is having problems with his connection"

He was 3 feet away.

However, a game of tetris worked when he was 20feet away :D

I still haven't had a chance to try BT yet, but even using an IP I was getting the message about connection problems. I am wondering if it has something to do with how "busy" the game is?
