I have been hearing form everyone this game is fun. But is it worth the buy? Also where can I find this game...

What are some other games out there that can be played like you can save the game, and then continue.. Kind of like story mode type?

Sim City? Is that fun?

If you do get worms, I olny works while it is installed on the ram. This may or maynot be different for you because I am using an x50v. As for simcity I never liked that game to begin with so I can't judge how it is on ppc.

   

In most stuff I've read more people prefer "Snails" to "Worms"

SimCity 2000 is pretty good. I enjoy playing it. I also enjoy both Snails and Worms. Although I'm having a problem with Worms: I can play for a min or so and then it just crashes. Any ideas anyone? Sometimes I can go a round, other times it stops if I try to attack.

Snails is just a Worms rip off though..

Snails is pretty much a worms ripoff but it is still a sweet game for the PPC. It loads fairly quickly and looked good even on my old NEC MobilePro P300. I even had it installed on an SD card.

not so muc ha ripoff as a game that was trying to give us the worms feeling due to teh fact team 17 were being wanks and not porting a proper version over for so long.

the nice thing is that snails has had a long time to work the kinks out and imo it is a much more polished game than worms pda.

i have worms world party on my desktop, and i LOVE it!

you can get it here for $24.95

however, on my ppc, i prefer snails, mainly because it's cheaper. i got it for $9.95 in december, but unfortunately, the price went up to $19.95. you can get it here.

the creators of snails have a great sense of humor (one of the on screen messages: "Pretend you're playing a Worms(c) clone and MOVE!"). also, i insalled Snails in BIS with no troubles...

i give both games two thumbs up but if price is your major concern, i'd go with Snails.
