ROMS slow in higher levels of games....

Has nayone had any trouble with their AXIM operating slowly in higher levels of games? I am using pocketnester for an emulator... When I aplay games like Super Mario Bros or Metroid it works great for the first two or even three levels of the games, but then as I advance, the music plays slower and the characters move slowly as well. I tried manipulating the processor speed to "Normal" as opposed to "Auto"; and I provided more program memory on the slide rule deal that allows you to manipulate the storage memory versus the program memory. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Porter

Try closing all the apps except the emulator. Also try turning sound off in the emulator. That can really speed things up.

I finished the whole Super Mario Bros game on my Axim the other day, and had no problems with it slowing down at all. Every now and then PocketNester does slow a little on some games.....and all you have to do is tap the screen (which pauses it) then tap the screen again (to unpause it), and it should go back to normal. So that could possibly be what you're experiencing with some of your games. By the way, I have 400MHz Axim set to Normal speed (always 400MHz)...for comparison sake.
