Best games for fpsece?
Busted out my old Gran Turismo CD yesterday and after makin an image with Alcohol 120%/Pocket ISO, it's running at 28fps on my x50v.
I was curious what other games you folks find playable (taking into account buttons and such). There's a recycled games store nearby and I'm itchin for more games that work.
I am focusing on playability with the x50v.
Cheers

Try 2D games and games that doesn't require fast button actions. I like Suikoden II, Xenogears and Romance of the Three Kingdoms 6

I think a buddy of mine has Tactics. Maybe I'll buy it from him and give it a whirl. I am thinking games with mostly one or two buttons operation will work best. I'll report here if I find any other good games maybe we can get an official list sprouted up somewhere.
Cheers

These are games that I have tried AND work...
Crash Bandicoot 2 and 3. (must turn frameskip to 4)
Einhander (runs good w/sound)
Strider2 (runs good w/sound)
Twisted Metal 2 (runs good w/sound)
Wipeout XL (runs fast...amazing how good this game works...with sound also!)
Warhawk (runs, but NO music in background...has sound effects though)
ThunderForce V (runs good, sound is skippy)
All of these games are being run on a X50v with '2700G' enhanced driver setting on Emulamer's 1.11 GAPI Tweak AND using FPSEce .093 (latest version)
Also, I run all my games using the straight .bin file----NO compression and NO ripping out videos and music--.
Later...

I cannot get .093 to work. After I click the ISO file, it flips me out to the today screen and the start bar is frozen with Fpsece in it.
Wipeout is one of my fav PSX games. Will have to get that one. Warhawk is the first game I ever bought for the PSX. Came with my first one. Do the videos play ok? I want to play the Resident Evil titles. I have Resident Evil 1 but the image I created doesnt work. I am not sure if I am ripping the disc wrong or what. My other images work fine.
Cheers.

Most videos don't play for crap. With the X50(v), you MUST turn ON the BLUETOOTH, then restart the PDA, then FPSEce. My BT has to be ON for the emu to run....wierd, huh?

If you have the GAPI tweak, make sure it's on 2700G, not LCD.

No need to start a list of compatible game. Just look here: http://fpsece.davejansen.com/index.php

That list is outdated. Most of the games that are said to work, 40% don't with .093. There needs to be a better site for showing compatibilities.
