Tell me about it, I even updated my review to reflect these problems. Soft resets, lagggggyyyy fights, goblins as skeletons, etc. Whoever beta tested these mods should be shot. I know that everyone (myself included) was complaining about the delays. However, that is no excuse for releasing a buggy product like this. I would have rather waited another six months to buy a finished game that has been fully tested than buy a buggy beta like this. Someone should've told them to release this game "when it's done". That way we wouldn't know what we're missing , we wouldn't have been breathing down their necks to release the mods, and wouldn't be complaining about the problems now. I'm starting to have mixed feelings about this game. I really want to finish it; I really love the look of the game; I can see its potential; and I really want to know the whole story. On the other hand, I'm sort of regretting not buying EQ instead. (sort of...)
I should point out that I was supposed to be a beta tester but they never contacted me about it. The FAQ for axim users on their web page are instructions I sent them in an email. This poor program behavior would lead me to believe that they beta tested in house or something, if at all.

I mentioned those problems on their forum, and they sent me a private e-mail asking me to beta test on my Axim for them. I replied tonight, so we'll see if they follow up.
BTW, the money I spent on EverQuest was the best $20 I have ever spent on a game for my Pocket PC. I just finished the first chapter and the free expansion, and then purchased the second game. It's MUCH more fun than SorceryPDA, and there are no bugs that I have seen in hours upon hours of play.
Well, I've found a new room in part two. Using the jailor's key, I was able to open the door (it's not in the maze.)
SLIGHT SPOILER
This new room is a dungeon room, and there is yet another locked door there, and a chest that is jammed shut (which I haven't been able to open.)
BIGGER SPOILER
I found a skull in the room that it let me take as an inventory item.
MAJOR SPOILER
I took the skull and jammed it onto the head of the king back in the maze. When I returned to the king, the scroll in his hand was gone, but I couldn't do anything new. Neither the locked doors in the library or the torture room were opened to me.
Everyone keeps saying that thing in his left hand is a key. It looks like a scroll to me. If it was a key, I don't know where it went. I do have ScrollZ in my inventory, which is the scroll I got from the king (according to the "log" that the game keeps.)
If you click on the gold thing JUST right and choose look, it will say something about a key, and if you try to take it, it will tell you that you cannot pry it out of the King's hand.

Well, it's not there anymore, so I wonder where it is? Try getting it before you leave that screen. Then, I'll know if I'm stuck in the game because of a glitch...
