Magadin, I guess you caught me in a nasty mood here. The dev team has asked aardwolf and myself to join the beta testers in getting this thing worked out. Truth be told, Sorcery really is a fun game. However, Axim users are apparently an isolated (and very vocal :p ) group that have had problems with this program. We've been asked to get the Axim side worked out and running smooth. Check back with us to see how things are moving along with the upcoming modules.
Yes... the sucky part is, we agreed to a non-disclosure agreement. We can't tell you about specific bugs, and we're not allowed to give hints or spoilers or walkthrus until one week after the finished module is released.
The good part is that we will both get refunds since we purchased the game (for being beta testers), and they will send us the PC version on CDROM with all of the mods once the game is finished.
On a side note... I still prefer Pocket EQ. I have played through the first episode twice (once each with two different character types), and I'm now playing through the second episode. It's SOOOO addictive!
Where did you get this information? I have not received anything yet that outlines my rights, responsibilities, or limitations. I do love the perks you have just described though.
I was sent an e-mail from John Chirillo, and it told me that I had to reply to confirm that I agreed. I don't want to publicly give out his e-mail address, so e-mail me if you don't have it...

I just started the third part, I have to agree. It is actually making me consider subscribing to the PC version again (although that's such a time hog). I figure by the time I finish with it the issues may all be worked out with Sorcery.

I won't get my hopes up here but has anyone gotten to mod 3 yet? The people on the Sorcery forum aren't very forthcoming with help beyond "It worked for me" and I'm getting tired of staring at this damn gate. BTW, I still haven't heard back about that beta tester job.
I have gotten a few messages about beta testing. They told us to download the gamma beta and report back with any problems. Somehow you didn't get on the list...
It looks like there was only a simple problem that kept me from hearing back about that beta testing position. They were waiting for me to reply to the terms & conditions e-mail that I never got. I expect that I'll hear from them within a few days.
I just got the e-mail today and accepted the terms. I'll be working on the modules as soon as I hear back from the dev team. It seems that my ISP was filtering out their e-mails and I had to give them the address to my Yahoo! account instead.
We got the betas... I played through the first and second, but we agreed to non-disclosure. The only thing I'm going to mention is that you're not missing anything. Upon clicking North to go through the door, a message pops up telling you to download the next mod. :P
