Tomb Raider Anyone?

I have the X50v. I am wondering if anyone has Tomb Raider running on the X50v. Is it worth the money?

Thanks!

You can try a free online ActiveX demo at the Tomb Raider for Pocket PC website. As far as I know, it's exactly the same as the original. I think the controls would take some getting used to...

It is pretty expensive for a game that retails for around $5 for every other platform, though...

Disregard all the reviews from people who tried this, it's actually pretty good and brings the great taste of a classic back into your life unto the pocket pc. Controls maybe awkward at first but that may be because you have to use on screen controls with your other hand (stylus not needed :O.O:). Oh and I do have an X50v with the gapi tweak set to the 2700 option checked... I recommend buying it :approve: !

I'ts not bad. Make sure you have a screen protector since the controls are onscreen.

I just bought Ultima Underworld as well. It works fine on the X50v and it's not bad. Controls take some getting use to.

Hmmm, funny, How did you get it working when it says here that it's ONLY compatable with the Compaq iPAQ 3630, 3660, 3760, 3850, 3870 and Toshiba e310 and e570 models only. How did you get it working with your model?

I've got the X50v also, and it works fine for me. Well worth the money, IMO. :approve:

issit just me or the vertical viewing angle of the x50v sux so bad that i cant seem to focus correctly on the screen... it feels like i'm looking at two screens and they are overlapping each other

vertical orientation however, tells me that my money is well spent

i get that effect from watching movies too.. One time I was watching a movie too closely, and when I shut it off, I found my vision couldn't focus on anything.. to took a minute for my eyes to readjust..

same thing happens to me, sometimes when i look at the x50v screen its like there is 2 of them, i think this is because of the reflectiveness of the x50v screen, aslo the flushed colours could be something to do with it.

compared to my psp, the x50v screen is rubbish.

I think this is meant to minimize glare from above.. notice that when you look at the screen in a vertical orientation, that you don't have this problem.. only when you look at the screen horizontally do you get this parallax issue..
