Anyone know of any cheap/free yet good/decent pinball, spades, hearts, or similar games? Can anyone explain emulators, where to get them, pros and cons, etc.?

ZIOSoft made the best pinball games unfortunately they don't seem to be in business anymore??? Check over at Handango for Paladin/Dark Paladin and Crystal Caliburn Pinball games

Here's a free spades game. It's not too bad, but I agree with the reviewers that your partner makes some dumb plays sometimes.

The same company (priebsoft) also makes a free euchre game. Those players also make some dumb plays, but both games are still fairly enjoyable.

It looks basic when you first download it, but it is quite addictive. Give it a few rounds and you will be hooked.

To find some emulators, take a look at Pocket Gamer. Go to their Games Section and they have a dedicated emulator section (I'm not sure the last time it was updated, though). Also, here is PDArcade's emulator list. I use MorphGear (and have for at least five years), but it isn't free. The SNES module is, though.
