Help Pocket Commodore 64 won't play ANY games

I've tried 5 games so far, some of them being Eternal Dagger, Wizard's Crown and Guild of Thieves. None will run, well past the initial startup screen anyway. I got them all from www.c64.com. Any help would be MOST appreciated. Thanks!

First open thr game in the auto folder, drive 8. If clicking on the game itself does't work, click on the plus sign and scroll down until you see a line that has .PRG on it. This usually works. Good luck!

Guild of Thieves would be much better on the Atari ST emulators anyway ;)

Guild of Thieves works fine in CaSTaway.; (ie: Here is a screenshot of The Pawn on CaSTaway for Palm OS; note that PPC CaSTaway is the same, and The Pawn is the same engine as Guild of Thieves):

Bleh I'm leaning towards saying either a) Pocket Commodore 64 is the crappiest emulator ever or b) it hates my Dell x50v. Maybe it's a ROM issue, anyone updated to the newest ROM and using it (I have)? I also get this REALLY REALLY annoying static sound coming out of my speaker just when it's sitting there doing nothing, before I even launch a game. That alone is enough to make me not want to play any games. :/

I've tried autoloading all of them, none take past the main screen. i.e. for Eternal Dagger I see the opening screen then it flickers, goes black and the red disk light comes on. As for looking for a .PRG file, well each disk I have has multiple (sometimes 10+) .PRG files. :( I've tried manually loading each one and it still blows up.

Thanks for the help though, if I can't get at least ONE of the games I want to work I may try and either a) get them to fix it or b) try and get my money back. :( I can understand 1 game out of the 6 I've tried failing, but all of them? Bleh. I'm bummed.
