My father-in-law bought Casino Games from Cosmi Corporation www.cosmi.com and installed the games to his PDA per their instructions and he can only execute the games through the file explorer.

Thinking he had done something wrong I borrowed the CD, followed the instructions and put the files in my Axim in the games folder. If I open the games folder from the program / games menu they don't appear there. If I open file explorer and navigate to the games directory I can select the games and they work fine.

Is there a way to get the games to show up on the games menu instead of opening file explorer?

You can create shortcuts from the games in My Device\Program Files\Games to My Device\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Games and then they'll show up in the games menu. I did this using File Explorer on the Axim. I understand that it can be done on a PC when the Axim is docked as well.

Yeah some apps are crappy about installing into where they say they will, sometimes you end up with an empty foler in yoru CF card or something, but you can cut and paste it back there and fix your shortcuts and it'll work.

I don't understand. I don't have a "Games to My Device" folder. Do I need to create one under my Games folder? I just stuck all my individual games in their own folders and put them under Games. I had to go into the \Windows\Start Menu\ folder and remove the links because they all got broke when I moved the games around. I'd like to create new shortcuts, but I'm not getting it...

Mike -

A little confusion here. There was not a folder called "Games to My Device". There were two folders mentioned there; (1) "My Device\Program Files\Games" and (2) "My Device\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Games ".
