Age of Empires 2 for Pocket PC

does somebody know Age of Empires 2? Would you like, that it would be ported to the Pocket PC? Please join our petition at:

Maybe MDM will recompile AoE2 for Pocket PC?

It's quite a bit more complicated than simply recompiling...

I know, that it isn't only recompiling. But this is the minor difficulty, because MDM has enough programmers and specialist. The major problem are the copyrights of Microsft. And if there will be for example (later) over 1000 people who will join this petition, they may become interested in releasing AoE2 for Pocket PC.

I don't think MDM has developers; they license out to developers to do the work, then try and sell the app. In the end, the developers don't get much money at all.

Unless MS thinks it will make money they won't license the game, these petitions do very little imho.

All online petitions do very little. I'd sign it anyway, but to be honest, I can't be bothered to sign up for the forum just to sign a petition that will most likely do nothing.

If you really want to get people to sign, put one on that online petition site so that you don't have to sign up.

The AOE that is currently out for PPC is not VGA. So yes it does look like crap with the pixel doubleing. It would be nice even if the current AOE was re textured so it was VGA.

I actually have AOE gold for ppc. it is a good game, I like it. I have on my Axim30h and although it is not as good as the PC AOE II neither was AOE I. Yes the screen could be bettr but it is fun.

I'd love it if AOE II came to PPC. I was never a big fan of the original AOE, so haven't purchased the PPC version... but I've spent way too many hours playing the PC version of Age of Kings. I'd pay quite a bit for that on my Axim.

Well I have AOE for PPC and I Like it.It is like it's bigbrother for the PC, but like you say id rather have Age of Kings,and the conquerors in VGA for the X50v.The PC version, i always end up going back and playing ,as well as Age of Methology
