Interesting.
My biased observations:
I tried it and it was very jumpy/flickery and seemed to have some redraw problems, and was a weird mix of Windows controls and GAPI Type screens. The AI didnt seem all that sharp. The graphics are all right, but I wouldn't say tons better, just different. And it only limits you to 6 players at the table. OH, I dont really like being portrayed as an older bald man. :) The dealing process is slow, and if you get kicked out and try to re-enter the game, it doesnt work correctly. They seem to be trying a little hard on branding their website/company as well. All in all they just seem to have Tons less features and have some early product kinks.
</biased observation>
They do have their selling point, bluetooth or infrared multi-player, which as I have heard hundreds of times, why base it only off those technologies. If you have to be in that close a range to play multi-player, why not use a deck of cards. (I can obviously see situations this may be ideal, hopefully everyone involved has a licensed copy of the software at those times).
Now dont get me wrong, multi-player is coming in our software as well, but I will definitely go wi-fi, desktop, etc...
Obviously Im very biased, so what do you actually find better in their game... Im working very hard on Version 2.0 of our software right now and am always looking for ways to improve it...
Its been an interesting last few weeks. 3 new competitors in the Hold'Em market all at once. Not a great thing for us, but definitley gives the Texas Hold'Em fans options, and with 2.0 we hope our product continues to lead the pack.
