Weird.......I didnt get any error messages when installing files from Jimmy's or PocketMatrix........
Anyway, happy you managed to install all of iD's oldies but goldies.....as for overclocking, go here http://elevatedstudios.com/pocket/ and you'll find everything you need.......

;)
If you spared some seconds to read through the text on this site, you would have found out that Speed Stepper does not yet support XScale.......
You can only use TurboTray, and the 498 version at that.....download, copy to your StartUp folder, and you are done :D

I havent played it, but from what I hear its pretty decent.......
.....problem is its the very first episode (where you have to fight the boss inside the pyramid at the end -was it a vampire or something like that ?), and I dont feel like playing that old game again, even if its on my Axim......I would much rather play 1942 on MameCE, or a couple shoot'em ups on PocketEngine ;)
EDIT: and I meant that Speed Stepper does not support AXIM yet, because it fully supports XScale, just not the frequencies that we want ;)

Thanks
Thanks for the tip, I probably won't buy it then especially now that I have doom and quake to deal with, can you recommend an alternative games of a similar nature (i.e. adventure/shootout), and also have you tried age of empires. Second question did you get serial database (from this site) to work or do you know of any database for storing serial numbers, much appreciated

Played Age of Empires ? On the Axim, no. On the PC, yes. Awesome game, very addictive, and I gather that the translation to the PPC is pretty decent.....if you like RTS games, then AOE is probably one of the best out there......I would definitely drop the 30$ needed to purchase it ;)
As for serial databases........if I understand correctly, you need a program to store serial numbers (or other numbers/data) on your Axim ? If thats correct, sorry but I cannt help you. I have always used the internal Notepad with a security program to encrypt my most "intimate" notes. Been like that since my days with Palms.....

Yes,it is great!
It uses the screen suprizingly well, and is addictive as well.
It lacks no features that the pc version has,it is EXACTLY the same.;)

Encryption
Hmm Ace
I never taught about that, I have all my serial numbers on one word document, what type of security programme do you use to encrypt? Second question have you tried the airscanner antivirus on this site, I installed it and it carries out all the othe r functions except scanning for virus, do ypu know of any other freeware virus scanning app ?
