Just wondering if anyone out there has played Madden 05'? Any thoughts on this one? Is it worth the $29 they are asking for it?

I have it, played it a few times, and that was that.

You get some of the functionality of the full version, but things like the weather settings didn't really appear in the actual program, and all the stadiums look the same.

I bought it rather inexpensively off of amazon.com when they had a good sale on it.

It also runs off a SD card, rather than installing directly on your PPC.

So, if you love football, and really want Madden 2005 with you, it's probably worth it; but understandably, the normal versions (PC and game consoles) are going to be much better.

 

I find this game unplayable with a X30 (control wise)

I just bought it a couple of days ago, I like it. I have an x50v and the controls are very usable. One of the few games that is good in portrait. I bought it from Handango with the coupon code AFF10, $26.95.

If you like football games, you'll like this.
