Can this bluetooth gamepad work?
Hiya
I was getting pissed off at my X5's dpad so I went on the hunt for controllers. The few that I am aware of is the zeta gamepad, gravis stinger, various palm and sony ones, the one in development by Dan East with the IR stuff, and the to be released bluetooth gamepad by that company of which I do not recall. I found this though... http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product_id=801842 I do not have anything that uses bluetooth but would like to know if its possible for this to work with it. If it does.. going to really get a x50v..

here's another one that will retail for $49
http://gear.ign.com/articles/598/598309p1.html I guess in order to right the driver for it, we'd need some technical info from the manufacturer.. can someone get their hands on one of these controllers and see if it is discoverable through a pda?

I dont have bluetooth nor that controller so I cant try it haha thats kinda sad... If you can get it from gamestop used it would only be $20 (thats all I was really focusing on since the site claimed that the gamestop near me should have 1-3 in stock)
Anyways, I guess this means that it wont be HID compatable with generic drivers then. Unrelated but neat... http://ecertech.com/default.aspx?menuitem=PRODUCTS

If BT HID driver does not work with the Xbox BT control, then lets assume no hope for a driver. (Doubt its very simple to write drivers)
Anyone up for an obscure idea? How about a very simple program that would output based on input? So... BT or IR keyboard sends A to the PPC to be interpreted as A in the hypothetical utility. The utility then uses what you have setup to connect A with say x0C1 [think morphgear gives stuff like that when binding a hardware key] Add options for holding or repeating and maybe we will get greater compatability. (Full of ideas, 0 programming skills) EDIT: http://www.msmobiles.com/news.php/3460.html universal HID bluetooth drivers? Edit2: Reply to my question to hipgear: The LM616 is only compatible with the Xbox. We are just starting to explore options for future Bluetooth devices so maybe someday soon you will be pleasantly surprised.
