Try uninstalling and then perform a soft reset. Then try reinstalling. Also, if you have a program like MemMaid, use it to clean the registry before reinstalling. That may help. I had the same problem, except I kept getting error messages before I could do anything. I learned that if I hit the settings button as soon as it opened, I was able to get into settings. Hope this helps.
