Anyone got worms world party running on their x50v?
I played this game on PC a couple years back.
Best. Game. Ever.
I heard there were some issues with getting this game to run on the x50v. If it's possible to get it going, it is definately at the top of my most wanted games list when my axim arrives. Does anyone know where it's available for download, or must it be bought?
Cheers,

You can download Worms here. It costs $24.95. Looks like there is a demo available.

The answer to the question is no, it does not run on the x50v.
Cheryl - Did you get it running?

I have it fully working on my X50v...
It's a fantastic game. I have Version 1.0.4
See if you can download a demo of that version, it should work :). It's the best game I have on my Axim, by a long shot!

It didn't work for me. When I tapped on it, it said "Light Simulator" on the menu bar and nothing happened. I may not have had enough memory available though (13.49MB in storage and 12.87MB in program). I tried adjusting the slider and starting Worms again, but no luck.

there is an issue with it installing to sd or bis. install it into the default location and it should work just fine.

Wow. It does work in main memory. Good call. Don't know if I can spare the space.

For those who don't want to spare the room in RAM, SNAILS is a pretty good clone of it:

Huh? I have Worms World Party installed on my x50v and it works in either SD or BIS. In fact, I had it on the SD and moved it to the BIS and it still works fine. I believe the version I have is 1.01

Here's a quick tip:
Save it to the BIS, and click the Worms folder. Click the folder that's within this folder, and copy the contents. Then, go back and paste the contents into the main Worms folder. Delete the folder you just grabbed the files from, when you have done this.
After that, It should work; and no memory is wasted!

It's a bit temporemental, but WWP does fully work on the X50v - I play it regularly :D
I have 1.0.4 Installing it to default directory caused the "light simulator" to hang... All I did was the above, copied all the files into one folder in BIS. Now it works fine, although it takes a couple of seconds to start up ;)
N.B - I use emulamers GAPI tweak
