Check out Buglord - there's a link for it in my View MyPDA section.
Looks like it's a RTS, not a RPG. Is it good though, never heard of it ?

RPG's play great on emulators.. since you don't need split second responses when playing, the ppc controls work well with rpg's. I would recommend any of the Final Fantasies, Chrono Trigger.. There are also a ton of japanese only RPG's that people have made english patches for..

I second what jagnon says ;)
I'm a big RPG fan... And i've tried just about every RPG to grace the PPC... Arvale is OK, but most of them I find underwhelming. Distinctly so.
On the other hand, a SNES emulator and some of the old SNES RPG classics make for some of the best gaming to be had... And the fact you can grab some previously unavailable Japanese games with English patches makes it all the sweeter.
I'm currently having a blast with Bahamut Lagoon on my X50v \o/

And like Jagnon mentioned, you can't go wrong with the Final Fantasies or Chrono Trigger.
Off the top of my head, I'd recommend the following SNES games: The Breath of Fire Series
Super Mario RPG
Terranigma
Earthbound
The Lufia Series
Illusion of Gaia
Secret of Evermore
Tales of Phantasia
Star Ocean
(Atlantis Redux) : THE STORY
2020. Hoggar desert - A young archeologist searches for the existence of a metropolis built, according to myth and legend, by the ancient Egyptians....
For those of you interested in Atlantis Redux, it's on sale ($17.46, 30% off) until April 21st.
OMG! I LOVED those games!!! I'm downloading them and definately installing them. Man, I remember playing them for the first time many moons ago.
Yeah, something like 15 years ago ? And this version works like a charm, I already finished it twice since I installed it ;)
