Yup, 15 or so years sounds about right!
It was music to my ears when I fired it up and heard the familiar "clank clank clank" of the door opening after pressing the button.
How easy is it to spot the hidden buttons in walls on the Axim screen?
I've got a plane flight in a little over a week that'll take about 4-5 hours. With a standard battery, an extended battery, and these games, I'll be set! :)

Concerning DungeonMaster: Is there a way to SAVE my game? I can get to the LOAD screen no problem but once in the game I can't seem to find a way to SAVE my progress.
Any time I have to reset my PDA I end up starting teh game again. :( Tiggy had already gained two levels!!!!

Open one of the characters and click on the little floppy disk. I never really played DM on the Atari.. But did love a couple of the clones. Bloodwych and Captive (similar game but all SciFi)

To save, just go in a character screen (by clicking on the health/stamina/mana bars) and in this screen, click the little disk icon on the upper right. Then "Save and Play" or "Save and Quit" :approve:
EDIT: Once again, you beat me on that Psionandy Damn I must learn to be quicker!
..... Tiggy :approve: This is my favorite character ! (The most mana points!) Usually mmy setup is made from 4 wizards. Tiggy, Wuuf, Mophus and Chani for example. I even beat the game a long time ago with Tiggy alone
(I almost chose Tiggy as a nickname on this forum...)

I wasn't a big fan of Bloodwych (ugly graphics, really really ugly), byt Captive was a killer!

MonFulIr of course :approve:
Well that doesn't really help because you probably don't have the rune's names... Here is the list of spells. Not everyone of them, only my own little selection, the ones I find useful.
For example 232 is 2nd rune from left, then 3rd, then 2th) The Power rune (first one) is not included in those formulas. 1 is lowest power (but easier to cast) while 6 is the greatest. So a low fireball would be 144, while the biggest one is 644.
Level is (approximatively) the difficulty to cast, and Delay is the time you can't cast another spell after this one.

Wow, thanks! I can't believe I forgot how to save! How embarassing!
I remember going to an Atari ST show in San Francisco way back in the day and seeing FTL showing a pre-release version of DungeonMaster.
My brother and I were absolutely dumbfounded by how ahead of its time it was and we bought it the first day it arrived in the store.
The only other game that blew me away in the same manner at first sight was Midi-Maze, which was the first tiem I saw people battling each other networked.
Thanks again for the help with DM!

Almost all my all-times favorites are games I played on my Atari ST 15 years ago (perhaps it's nostalgia ? I prefer to think that at that time, people invested more ion the game concept than the graphics and cinematics)
Pirates! (by Sid Meier)
Dungeon master
Colonial Conquest
Kick Off
Colonization I
All of them are playable on CastCE of course :approve:

Ooh... Pirates! That was certainly a good one. I never had an Atari but did have a 8088 PC. I also enjoyed the Ultima series and other good RPGs like Phantasie, Wizard's Crown, M&M, Wizardry, Bard's Tale etc. Loved 'em all :)
