Any good RPGs to recommend?
I'm a sucker for RPGs and would like to know whether there are any good RPGs worth investing in for the PPC. Any suggestions would be appreciated :) Thanks!

Thanks djw. Can I assume that you'd recommend them all? :)
PS. Legacy looks amazing. It brings me back to the days of The Bard's Tale, Eye of the Beholder, M&M and Wizardry. Sweet! Very Sweet!! :)

Yeah, I saw Arvale. Looks really good - kinda like Zelda. Still, Legacy draws me in...
Thanks for the reply, Rorschach :)

I second the vote for Arvale. I purchased it and find the writing very well done. Lots of quests, and turn based combat that never really gets old. Well worth my time, and maybe yours too!

Thanks... does anyone know whether there are discounts available for either Legacy and/or Arvale?

hehe, yeah they are all pretty good, although I'm not all that into the Myst series.
If you like really old school, Dragon Bane will remind you of Dragon Wars for the PC. You gotta go waaaaay back for that one. :approve:

That's good advice. Thanks jagnon. I'll keep an eye out for an emulator. Do the games play the same?

And if you're REALLY REALLY old school, you can find a Dungeon Master version for PPCs.
