Problem with Games on x50 mid

I don't know if this is a hardware problem or what.

I have installed Super Bomber and it runs great.

I have installed a couple card type games and they are fine.

Every Application I have installed as far as I can recall has run just fine.

But...

I've tried to installed the Virtual pool demo, Gringos, and High Noon drifter all at seperate times and to the Built-in-storage, and the install seems to go fine but when I tap on the program to play it, it never opens and it locks up most of the axim, requiring a soft reset.

I have no idea what is going on.

I have tried disabling and uninstalling my today plugins (majic button,Kbattery, and calender +).

Still nothing seems to work. I need help

Edit: I've also tried changing the processor speed to max, and maximizing program RAM.

How much memory do you have available on your device? I don't know about the other two games, but High Noon Drifter requires 16MB free memory to run. It may be that you don't have enough memory available. That would be my first guess.

Hmmm... have you tried installing any of the games anywhere else? Perhaps they won't run in BIS? Sorry, but I haven't tried any of them to be able to give you a definitive answer.

High Noon Drifter will have a pop-up saying that it doesnt have enough memory....So it cant be the Program to Storage ratio... I am having the same problem, except with Airscanner Anti-virus...

Are you saying, I need to install it into main memory?

I'll try that.

Weird thing happened, I'm trying it with gringos. I told it to install into Main Memory and when it transfered to the axim it went into Built-in-storage.

Edit:

Okay, I got it to install into the main memory using the CAB files, but still nothing.

I'm at a loss. I'm wearing out my reset button.

I tried it with Kungfu Fighting, installed in default location.

The install went fine, then when I click on it it did not open, but this time it didn't freeze up, it just wouldn't open.

I'm still on A01 ROM could this be an issue? I'm going to upgrade tonight, finally give me an excuse.

Same thing happened with Kungfu Fighting after ROM update. Sheesh.

I'll try the others a little later.

Why would SuperBomber work, but not Kung fu, HND, and Gringos.

ODD

I could get HND to work, but not Gringos or Spears and Rats...

Well in case anyone else has an issue with this, I am making progress.

I did a hard reset and removed everything from my built-in-storage so the PPC was completely stock.

Then I installed HND and it worked just fine.

So I definate have a software conflict somewhere, I just need to find out what it is.

I'll post an update when I figure it out.
