I said before that this game was just ripped from many other games. Well the proof is here. My friend BetaSword at Pocketgamer.org tipped me off to this one (He's also the submitter of the news article there). It's official now. The game was piss poor anyway. And I did think it looked kinda ripped when I played the demo.

^^Yeah, the real crime is how utterly crappy the game is. I could care less if the textures infringe on copyrights as long as game play is good, and Red Sector is absolutely horrendous.

You know... I believe this is the wrong way to demonstrate your anger, frustrations or whatever towards this company. When I first saw that a demo was available I couldn't care more for it. I didn't even download it. Now that all this "ruckus" has been made I'm quite interested to take a look at it.

Perhaps not to mention the game even exists will make a bigger dent on them than to keep "marketing" and hyping it will.

I think it's just not our bussiness. Let's just let the affected companies get all legal by theirselves, if they find that's what they need to do, and enjoy or hate what we have at hand without complaining so much... Sure, the game is a rip off, but is it any fun? I heard it's really crappy. Perhaps they are not seeing the sales they expected due to the incapability of the crew incharged. They will see that they just can't expect a game to drive sales by making just another piece of copy-paste crap for a very specific first person hardcore gamers audience (no offense, Rice Lover, I know you liked it nice to meet you, by the way...)... I think gaming goes way beyond that... Still, I want to try the demo after all the chat and tell you if it's any good or not
