Redshift's Legacy RPG help for the x50v

I was told that Redshift's Legacy was a very good RPG to have on the Axim. I went to the site and tried both the .cab and .zip installers with no success.

I have emailed Redshift about the problem but they were unable to help. I thought I would ask to see if anyone had any suggestions for me.

I have the x50v, with about 19mb free for data and 19mb free for programs. I tried putting the game on an SD card as well as in BIS. My Axim is using a Japanese version of Windows 2003Ce, Rom version A00. I haven't had problems with other programs loading. Most of the programs are in English and there hasn't been a problem yet.

I have also successful installed the PC version on my Japanese XP system so I doubt the problem is in the language.

Anyone with an x50v get the game to work? Does anyone have any suggestions for me to try?

Thanks.

Yup, it works great on my X50v.

I installed it when I was on A02 and now play it on A03 without probs. The game resides on my SD Card. You can try getting in touch with some Redshift/Legacy experts at http://www.pdarcade.com/modules.php?name=Forums

Hope this helps :)

So you didn'T need tomake any changes when you installed it? I've tried lowering the processor speed but that didn't work. I was just thinking of trying the vgapi tweek to see if that helps.

If that doesn't work, then it might have to deal with the ROM version.

Thanks. I just put up a post at PCarcade to see if they might be able to help me out. I wonder if it's the Rom version that's the problem.
