Question on Installing app on SD Card
I just installed SimCity 2000 on my SD Card. The install program put the big Simcity.exe (3.34 MB) file on my CD Card. But there was like 9 other files ( .SC2 & .SCN) that it put in my RAM storage!!!

What's up with that? Is that typical for installing programs on SD or CF Cards? Can I move those files to my CD Card and still have SimCity work properly?

Any help would be appricated.

TIA

Usually, when you install a game to a memory card, there are some files that get saved on the main memory. As far as I know, if you move the files, the program won't work anymore.

So, can we expect a Review to pop up in the review section soon?

I want to know how well it plays on an Axim and how well it plays compared to the PC version.

Anyone know if the original simcity is available for ppc? I used to play it on my palm, but I can't seem to find it for ppc

Read this thread a few days ago, and was thrilled to learn that SimCity 2K was available for PPC. Downloaded the full version (gulped and paid the full price), and have been addicted ever since. Great game, and functions fantastically on the Axim. (Controls are a little awkward at first, though.)

Ditto, that's why I can never get addicted to these games. My cities, forts, castles all crumble under my leadership.

You know, this is really wierd. I like the Civilization building elements of Age of Empires, but hate the fighting. Yet, I do not like Sim City. Oh well.

I thought I'd share this with you guys, it's a city I've been workin' on for the last few weeks, on both my pc and on the pocket pc. I didn't want too many bridges or power line crossings, so I built power plants on each island, and most of the islands except the center, are connected via tunnels.
