Question Gameboy Advance Video and Morphgear

I keep getting "insufficient memory".

I've followed a bunch of suggestions here on getting the memory "cleaned up" and now, if that dumb slider would stay (any way to force it to one side?), I can get just over 40meg free. Morphgear still complains on GBA Video and a few games too Kingdom Hearts for one.

Anything I can do to get these working?

I appreciate any advice or help.

thanks

u have a corrupt rom....This rom is not compatable with Morphgear...Btw if u have an x50v, there are other changes u will also have to add like the Gapi tweak...

X3OH actually, gapi tweak is just for the X50's right?

All game ROMs work fine on my desktop. Does this mean it only appears corupt to Morphgear? Is anyone else able to play GBA Video on your Axim with Morphgear?

I gotta say ROM being corpt does not seem like the most likely problem here.

1. A few games are not compatible yet with the *current* version of the VGBA Module of Morphgear. Kingdom Hearts and Urbz have been already confirmed of not working and has been resolved with Marat's new update for his upcoming Commercial Modules.
2. I may be able to help you out with getting your roms to work... just be on Fri- Sun and I should be online (Instant Messenging) sometime during those days...

thanks for the info. Imay take you up on the help sometime, however I'm leaving this weekend for vacation. Hopefully that offer can be extended? :)

Is there a good website or forum specifically for emulation on PocketPC?

Main reason I bought the X30 was toy around with emulators and games.

thanks again

Perhaps Marat will release an interim update as a beta? I think you mentioned speed improvements, so I'd be game to see them ;)

I'm not buying it unless I can test it out first... Need to see if it's worth it.

But will there be a trial? That's the question. And trial versions in my experience tend to suck. Normally they're nothing compared to the full version (missing features, slower, etc). Trial versions really aren't good for something like this. Need to see it in action somehow.

Actually... Marat's trials are 5 minutes in run time per game you load up... that's the only limitations until you buy it for the full version. Nothing is missing from the trial version that would be in the full version...

Oh... and not to mislead anyone, the ds emulator is actually in conjuntion with the gba emulator. See here: http://fms.komkon.org/VGBA/
And here's a quote from Marat on his site:
"I have also started adding Nintendo DS features to VGBA, such as the second ARM9 CPU and the cartridge loader. This work is far from complete though, so do not expect VGBA to run Nintendo DS programs right away."

Whether he's going to make the Ds emulator seperate or not is kinda foggy at the moment but at this time... no DS games will be playable until a later time. There isn't that many games for it anyway that have been ripped to rom status. We only found 2 ;)...

@YodaEXE: The trial only allows you to play for 5 minutes for each rom. When you register the commercial modules, the time limit is gone. In other words, No additional features are locked in the trial version... Gameplay Time is short... thats all.
