Taking a Walk Down Memory Lane

I made a really cool discovery today. Well, it's cool to me, anyway. I have found arcade versions of Ms PacMan, PacMan, Galaga and Galaxian for the PPC.

I know I've seen clones of these games before but these versions are actually released by NAMCO. The demos allow you to play for only a few seconds, which is quite annoying. On the upside, for the few seconds I played I was transported back to the days of my youth and slugging the video game machine with quarters so I could play another game of Ms PacMan.

The games are controlled with the navigational pad (aka DPad) so it can be kind of tricky. I've only played them on my X50V so far and they work great.

Each game is priced at $14.99 which is quite reasonable, IMHO.

Ms PacMan
PacMan
Galaga
Galaxian

Now I've got to find myself a coupon for Handango or PocketGear :)

The earliest system I had was sega. I never even had NES or anything. I did have a pc though. I remember the good games like Commander Keen and Microman for pc though.

Galaga for sure. In my house we have an original arcade system of the game from the '80s.

Man, I'm really dating myself here...
I was a "Galaga God" in my mispent youth. I downloaded the trial version from PocketGear and, your right, it only lets you play for a few seconds before asking you to register (annoying).
But you know, if I'm not standing in front of the 800 pound arcade version, on a Saturday night, in the game room of Half Time Pizza, with Van Halen blaring from the speakers...it's jut not the same.

If I wasn't married, I would try to run away with Ms. Pac-Man!
I still  that game.

Since it's Ms. instead of Mrs., did Pac-Man and her go through a divorce???

Things that make you go, "Hmmmm?"

Trust me you will not be disappointed in the gameplay. But let me know how the d-pad on the X50v works with this game.

I remember standing in line to play Galaga. That's if TRON was busy, along with Tempest, and Night Driver.
