Great graphics!!! I've been running a beta of it for a few weeks now, and the graphics really impressed me. One of the best graphics from a road racing game yet. The controls are very loose though....so therefore, I do not like the gameplay that much.

There is another game called Racing Days that I have also been testing out lately. It is more of a Nascar type racing game....it also has very impressive graphics, but the controls are still just as loose.

Both games are in landscape. The hardware buttons are used for accel, braking, Point-of-View, etc. The stylus is used on screen for steering left-right. The sensitivity of the steering is EXTREMELY high, causing the car to swerve all over the place. This is experienced in both games. The control options in both games don't compensate for the steering sensitivity at all. Maybe this will improve in the final version of NFS....or maybe others will have better luck at figuring out the "proper" way to control the cars. Maybe I just really suck at these games?
:)

Is there any way to tone down the steering input?

Yes, mustang is correct. The beta does not have any way to adjust the steering sensitivity. I don't know if their fixing this before final release or not....but if they don't, then I advise to demo before buying!! Also, I agree about the price. Unless the final version gameplay is drastically improved, there is no way that I'll pay $30 for it. I've still been trying to play, but steering is still as horrible as ever. I just can't get control of the car enough to enjoy the game. Again, this will hopefully change with the final build. Let's wait and see.
:)

You can't download the beta. You had to be selected to test the game in order to receive it. Most companies use this strategy to allow hardcore users to test their software first and report any bugs. These bugs are then looked into before the final release to the open public.
